Seeds of Grace
Three Seeds & a Cross
Inside your keychain: three mustard seeds and a cross, as a reminder.
One seed is for you — "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." — Matthew 17:20
This one is yours. Faith this small still counts. The mountain doesn't have to move today for the seed to be working, because a planted seed grows even when we can't see it.
One seed is for sharing — "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." — Romans 10:17
This one is meant to be given away. Faith usually travels from one person to the next, and it often starts with a willingness to pray, even a silent prayer. You don't need perfect words. Pray for them, and you become the next pair of hands.
One seed is for when hope feels gone — "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." — Hebrews 11:1
This seed is a reminder that you are not alone. A seed sits in the dark and looks alone, but it isn't. The Gardener is right there in the dirt with it. Jesus is always close, especially when we feel lost in this world.
The Cross
The cross is for when you stumble — "He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed." — Isaiah 53:5
Every one of us stumbles. The cross is a reminder that Jesus paid for your forgiveness. Maybe He's already waiting to say to the Father, "Forgive them." He is always ready to receive us.
Want to Know Him?
If you've never taken that step, it starts simply — admitting we need Him, believing Jesus died and rose again for us, and asking Him into our lives. This isn't a one-time-only door. It's an invitation, and not everyone hears it. Maybe you hear it today and stay on the path. Maybe you hear it years from now, when it feels like you forgot Him, or forgot the prayer you once prayed. Either way, if you hear it, you are welcome, or welcome back, into His arms.
