Still Wondering?

You’re welcome here, questions and all.

Maybe this is new to you. Maybe you’ve believed before and aren’t sure anymore. Maybe someone connected to a church hurt you, and trusting again feels difficult. You don’t have to explain it all or pretend to be somewhere you’re not.

Jesus isn’t intimidated by honest questions. You can take your time with them.

Start small

You don’t have to read the whole Bible or figure everything out today. One place to begin is John 1:1–18, the opening of a Gospel that introduces us to Jesus.

Read slowly. Notice what catches your attention, what feels confusing, and what you’d like to understand. You don’t need a polished answer. Start with one question: “What does this make me curious about?”

If you want words to begin

You don’t have to pray before you’re ready. But if you want to, an honest beginning could sound like this:

“Jesus, I’m not sure what I believe yet. Help me understand who You are. Help me bring You my honest questions.”

You can use your own words, too.

You don’t have to wonder alone

If there’s a question you’ve never felt comfortable asking, you’re welcome to bring it here. I may not have every answer, but I’m willing to listen.

Ask a question

If you have the keychain, let that little seed remind you: you don’t have to force an answer today. There is room to keep exploring.
